You need an awareness of your self and the people and environment around you to be able to make better decisions, communicate more clearly and manage projects to better results. Developing and practicing the core skills of Sixth Sense Awareness will help you in personal development and professional advancement.

Learn how to tune your radar to people and situations in your project environment. Only with the knowledge and skills to do this can you then apply your understanding of your observations to make better decisions, to communicate more clearly and to know when to adapt to changing conditions.

In this online course (4 PDUs), we will cover the following topics…

Step 1: Self-Awareness
Understand what self awareness is and what role it plays in your personal and professional life. Learn how to become self-aware. Learn how to apply self awareness to your benefit. Self awareness is the conscious knowledge of one’s own character, feelings, motives, desires, values, preconceptions and actions. It is also being aware of what actions you take. If you aren’t aware of your actions, you aren’t in control of them. You need to know yourself so that you understand how you are affected by others, how you affect others and what your specific strengths and weaknesses are with respect to self-awareness.

Step 2: Awareness of Others
Understand what awareness of others is and what role it plays in your personal and professional life. Learn how to become more aware of others in a meaningful way. Learn how to apply awareness of others to your benefit. Awareness of others is conscious knowledge of others character, feelings, motives and desires. It also includes conscious knowledge of others reactions to you and others. Perceptions play a large role in your awareness of others. Further, you need to be able to assess the accuracy of your perceptions as well as recognize others perceptions of you.

Step 3: Environmental Awareness
Understand what environmental awareness is and what role it plays in your personal and professional life. Learn how to develop your own environmental awareness. Environmental awareness mean understanding what is happening anywhere around you and how it is affecting people. Learn how to utilize positive environments and how to minimize the affect of negative environments.

Step 4: Integrated Awareness (Pulling it all together)
Develop an understanding of how to combine these 3 types of awareness to make better decisions, take more appropriate actions and to engage in more meaningful interactions.
