What is Program Management?

When a change initiative requires implementation of multiple, inter-dependent projects, the change initiative requires a process called program management. A program is designed to achieve an outcome and program management is concerned with determining and executing the right projects to achieve that outcome. Project management, on the other hand, is about executing projects correctly.
