DALE CHRISTENSON, DPM, PMP, CMC

Professional Background
Dr. Christenson is the founder and president of the Project Management Centre of Excellence Inc. He's a Certified Management Consultant and Project Management Professional specializing in project management consulting and training. He combines an extensive academic background with real-world expertise in the areas of program and portfolio management, organizational development, change management and critical project success factors. He's held project management leadership positions in the public and private sectors.

Dale has a Doctorate in Project Management from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in Australia and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees, diplomas and certificates in Criminology, Counseling Psychology and Project Management. Dale has 10 peer reviewed journal articles to his credit and is a frequent speaker at conferences. He is the winner of the Project Management’s Institute (PMI) Project of the Year and the winner of the Canadian Institute of Public Administration Leadership Award. He also serves as the Past President on his local PMI chapter in Victoria British Columbia.

LOUIS CSOKA, PhD., U.S. Army Col (Retired)

Professional Background
As a successful leader, scholar, teacher, and consultant, Dr. Csoka understands the day-to-day performance challenges executives face. As president and founder of Apex Performance, he has designed, developed, and implemented Leadership Development programs with primary focus on sustained peak performance. He has worked with organizations in applying peak performance technology as the primary lever for achieving extraordinary results.

At West Point, Col. (RET) Csoka created, developed, and directed the U.S. Military Academy's first-ever Performance Enhancement Center. He served 21 years on the West Point faculty in the Dept. of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership. As Professor of Psychology & Leadership and part of the first leadership team of this newly formed department, he played a major role in the design of the organization, curriculum, and faculty selection. He has served as Sr. VP - HR for a $6B global manufacturing company and helped create a team-based organization and designed its first leader development program.

STEVEN HAYWARD, PhD

Professional Background
Dr. Hayward is an Assistant Professor in the English Department of Colorado College. An internationally acclaimed novelist, he holds a doctorate in English studies and has published scholarly essays on Shakespearean drama, the teaching of writing, film and Canadian literature. A frequent contributor to Cleveland's The Plain Dealer and Canada's Globe and Mail, he's also the co-host of the radio show Wordplay.

He teaches introductory, advanced, and multi-genre workshops where he works to show students a "craft-centered approach" and demonstrates that creative writing classes require a different kind of attention than ordinary English courses. His first book, "Buddha Stevens and Other Stories", won the Upper Canada Writer's Craft Award. His most recent novel "The Secret Mitzvah of Lucio Burke" won Italy's Premio Grinzane Cavour prize for best first novel. Additionally, he was selected to be part of Knopf Canada's esteemed New Face of Fiction program.

PAT PAPESH

Professional Background
Ms. Papesh is a perfect person to help project managers understand the nuances of communicating with and building relationships with executives. She has nearly 30 years of corporate leadership experience across the broad areas of marketing, sales, retail, human resources, communications, licensing, product development and general management, with a strong focus on managing in creative environments.

As founder of GFY ("Good For You"), Inc., she's leading the research and developmental efforts for a new experiential program that is a catalyst to help women build confidence in decision making. Prior to forming GFY Inc, she served four years as President, North American Retail Division at American Greetings Corporation where she had financial and strategic responsibility for the 600 store chain of Card and Gift shops. She also held other senior management positions within American Greetings including Corporate Sr. VP - HR and Communications and as Sr. VP - Product Development where she led the renowned Creative Division.

TRES ROEDER, PMP, MBA

Professional Background
Mr. Roeder helps organizations change successfully. He has deep industry, consulting and training experience and leads major engagements in areas such as corporate strategy, operations improvement, process improvement and implementation. Industry experience includes serving as Director of Business Process Improvement at American Greetings with prior positions at RR Donnelly and Toyota Motor Sales USA. A former consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, he founded Roeder Consulting in 2001.

Mr. Roeder is a member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Project Management Institute and has his PMP, BA in Economics from the University of Illinois and MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

AMY SPEIDEL

Professional Background
Ms. Speidel has 20+ years of Early Childhood experience as a teacher, director and parent educator. She earned the distinction of Teacher of the Year from the Cleveland Association for the Education of Young Children in May, 2000 and is a certified Parent Coach and presenter for Senders Parenting Center, the educational wing of Senders Pediatrics. Amy’s experience with Conscious Discipline ® began when she started implementing it in her classroom and having seen the results, is a strong advocate for Conscious Discipline ® . She aspires to support all adults by sharing Conscious Discipline ®  with them through practical, user friendly seminars and workshops. She works extensively with teachers, parents, pediatricians, nurses and others in the medical field.

Amy brings a humorous and insightful perspective to her presentations by sharing many personal insights. As a presenter, she offers you a meaningful perspective of how the skills and strategies of Conscious Discipline ®  can support you every step of the way.

TORI WEISBERG, BA, MEd

Professional Background
Ms. Weisberg has been teaching for the last 14 years, 9 of those years at the preschool level. She is currently teaching at Hathaway Brown in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Hathaway Brown is Ohio's oldest college preparatory school for girls. As a teacher, she understands how utilizing various techniques/methods involving group dynamics helps increase participation while moving toward a common goal.

Ms. Weisberg holds a M.Ed. from Georgia State University and a B.A. in Sociology from Duke University.

 

CHRISTINE ZUST, MA

Professional Background
Ms. Zust works with people who want to enhance their communication effectiveness and professional success, and with companies to develop more productive leaders and teams. She has more than 30 years of experience in strategic communication, positioning, planning and leadership. She is president of Zust & Company, a Cleveland-based training, facilitation and consulting firm. Ms. Zust works with executives, emerging leaders and management teams to develop credibility and clout with key clients, customers and constituents. She has held management and leadership positions in the public and private sectors and is a member of numerous training organizations.
